Admittedly, I am a bit of an irreverent Renaissance woman. There’s never been one thing that caught my attention long enough for me to assign it as a life long obsession. I suppose, I’m just too in love with the nature of existence!
You’ll find within the pages of this site a bit about my writing, poetry and lyricism. You’ll also find paintings, sketches and dabble in design.
Of course, there will be more than a bit about my shutterbuggery and cat-momness (the true pleasures of life).
The more professional facts of my education and origin might stay a bit fuzzy, as, admittedly, they’re the bits of me that I find myself less associated with.
But as for all the other little bits, well, I defer to a list of fun facts (Found below, my friend) For a bit more even than that…the BIGGER bio!
I grew up in Mesa, Arizona where the most interesting thing you can do on a Friday night is hit up the local Village Inn for free wifi and pie.
I wrote my first functional storyline at the age of 9 and my first full novel at age 15, publishing my first YA Fiction “Jake” at the age of 17.
I graduated from my local community college with an Associates of Arts two weeks before my 18th birthday, four weeks before I graduated from high school. I graduated with my BA from ASU two years later.
I’ve spent half of my life learning to read, write and (somewhat) speak a dead language. It’s Latin...if you’re wondering.
Over the course of my entire life, my fur-family has included 12 cats and 5 dogs. I am currently cat mom to a pair of Russian Blues and a Flame Point Siamese who are inarguably spoiled beyond belief.
I am an avid hiker and the longest hike I’ve done in one day so far is Haleakala Crater in Maui, Hawaii; 12 miles, at 10, 023 ft in 6.5 hours.
I have been to 5 European countries and spent more than 2 weeks in Italy alone, eating good food, drinking coffee, and taking pictures.
I have a handful of inconvenient food allergies the most tragic of which is none other than the Millennial brunch favourite: avocado. I mourn this fact daily.
